Until March 8, 2026, Complexe Desjardins is home to an all-new immersive art installation called Givrescence as part of the 16th edition of LUMINO.
Suspended above the fountain, Givrescence creates an immersive experience where light and music interplay with the fountain’s water jets to delight the senses.
The work is a modern-day constellation composed of 40 beams of light suspended from the ceiling. Each beam shimmers, shines and dances in a choreographed light show that evokes the icy freshness and magic that is winter in Montreal.
The fountain’s spectacular jets move perfectly in time with the lights and music, transforming the Complexe into a dazzling aquatic theatre of light.
Part visual art, part sound installation and part water show, the work is designed as a kinetic ode to winter in Montreal.
Don’t miss your chance to bask in the vibrancy and creativity of our great city.
