The Complexe in renovation

The Complexe Desjardins shopping centre is launching its new renovation project, which will take place on the second level (place), in the southern sector, starting from the Grande-Place:

The goal is to improve the visitor experience and make the shopping centre more accessible and attractive to people who live and work nearby. The $23 million renovation project will provide newly renovated spaces for businesses that sell everyday items and provide essential services. .

Construction will begin in spring 2025 and continue until fall 2026. Some of the updates include:

  • Adding escalators
  •  Expanding common areas

Designed with locals in mind

The renovations will have a number of benefits for people who live and work nearby:

  • Local services – Residents will enjoy convenient access to everyday items and essential services in an updated space.
  • Better visitor experience – Renovations and updates like widening corridors and raising the ceiling will make visiting the space even more enjoyable.
  • New layout – The new store layout will meet the changing needs of current customers and attract new ones, giving the neighbourhood a boost.
